Canna butter isn’t complicated to make, however, it is somewhat time consuming. First of all, put the butter, water and marijuana in the cooking pot and bring to the boil.
Once the canna butter mix is boiling, reduce the heat so that the mix is simmering. You ideally want to simmer for 5 hours but certainly no less than 3. This will heat the THC in the weed and extract it into the butter.
After simmering, strain the canna butter through a very fine strainer or a cheesecloth. This will remove all bits of weed but the THC will pass through with the liquid butter. The removed weed should be discarded.
Take the canna butter and water mix and place in the fridge. Once the butter has hardened, pour away the excess water. Voila, canna butter! It can be stored in a Tupperware container for several weeks.
